Mersey Burns App app for iPhone and iPad

Mersey Burns is an app to help doctors quickly and accurately prescribe resuscitation fluids to seriously burned people in emergencies. The doctor draws the burned areas on an outline of a person, enters their age, weight and time of burn. The weight can be estimated from the age if it’s not known. A button then shows the doctor the fluids prescription. The application provides doctors with an easy-to-use interface where they can draw the burned areas on a persons outline, input patient details, and obtain the prescribed fluid volume effortlessly. By automating the calculation process, Mersey Burns eliminates human errors and significantly reduces the margin of error in fluid prescription, ensuring patients receive the appropriate amount of fluids.
